Description
of Application
These lightweight panels are generally constructed of
wood sandwiches with an internal polyurethane foam core,
and are used as partitions for cabins and technical storage
rooms with the advantage of weight reduction and noise
absorption.
Due to the foam core, lightweight panels cannot be mechanically
fixed to the hull structure, as is done with traditional
plywood panels. It is therefore recommended to bond these
panels using Sikaflex® -292. This process is also
endorsed by the manufacturers of these lightweight panels.
