Description of Application
Sacrifical anodes are blocks of base metal fixed to steel hulls to help reduce the rate of corrosion from galvanic effects. They are attached to the steel hull by mechanically fixing from the inside. They must therefore be sealed from the outside to protect against water ingress. This can be successfully achieved using Sikaflex® -291.
