Quality
Sika is commited to a comprehensive quality and service culture.
"Quality First" is the standard by which every production
process, every workplace and every member of staff is measured.
So it comes as no surprise to learn that the quality systems of
all established Sika companies are certified with the ISO 9000 series
of international standards. Our understanding of quality of service
means meeting the needs and wishes of our customers as promptly
and efficiently as possible. Sika Australia Pty. Ltd. is 9001:2000
certified.

Quality Management (Extract of the
Annual Report 2001)
A key focus in the area of quality management has been the optimisation
of all related processes. This process-oriented management system
aims to increase customer satisfaction as well as production and
logistic efficiency. In addition to the quality standard ISO 9000:2000,
it also includes the environmental standard ISO 14001, the requirements
of the automobile industry and the Sika-relevant safety standards.
With the exception of start-up and very small companies, all subsidiaries
in the Sika Group are at least ISO 9000ff-certified.
During the year under review, Sika successfully passed all the re-certification
audits required within the framework of the above-mentioned standards.
In addition, the Group passed all evaluations conducted by the automoblie
industry, which regularly monitors the performance of its suppliers.
